*Note for Nvidia users, if on n-tune you cannot see the "find optimal clock" button it is recommended that you use either the ATItool or Rivatuner.
I’m back, this time with a different way to overclock. Overclocking your GPU (graphics processing unit). Its pretty straight forward and unlike CPU manufactures the GPU manufacturers don’t mind you to take your gaming to the extreme and sometimes encourage you to fiddle with their stuff.
Overclocking your GPU works in pretty much the same way as overclocking your CPU, only thing is that it uses software instead of the BIOS. Most of the stock clock speeds on GPUs are extra “safe” so there is room to tweak.
I Overclocked my little 8400GS to run CoD4 like a charm (well kind of... I cheaped out and got XFX's card... random spots of lag in CoD4, WoW, CS:1.6, and TF2).
Since 95% of everyone with a graphics card has either an NVidia or an ATI this tutorial is in three parts; the first is for those with NVidia GPUs, the second is for ATIs running XP and the third is for ATI’s running vista (also compatible with nvidia if you have any problems with the first one).
This tutorial will teach you how to hack a Windows XP Machine to obtain Administrative access.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU DO WITH THIS! DO NOT TRY ON ANY MACHINES THAT YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER OF OR HAVE SOLE CONTROL OVER. USE/VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I have created a batch file to automate this process as much as possible. You can download it HERE (Right Click > Save As)
As long as you can use the AT command, you can do this!
Steps: 1. Click Start, Run, then type “CMD” 2. Type the following string:
“AT <*> /interactive cmd.exe”
* = The time you would like it to run in 24hour format (IE: 19:30)
3. When it runs, end “explorer.exe” though Task Manager. 4. Run “explorer.exe” through the new CMD window
You now have administrative access on the PC!

Super Smash Brothers: Brawl Known Disc Read Error(s)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl utilizes a double-layer disc which has a large memory capacity. A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the disc drive. Nintendo has specialized cleaning equipment that can resolve this problem. (Please do NOT attempt to clean the lens yourself, as you may damage the system.)
How can I get this fixed and how long will it take? If you are experiencing disc read errors, please utilize the form (Located at the Internet Address Below) to request a repair order. Nintendo is upgrading inbound and outbound shipping to expedite the total repair process. Specific repair times will be provided as you fill out the repair form below. There is no cost for the repair or shipping.
** Please note: returning the game to the retail store will not solve the problem. So we encourage users who are experiencing issues with playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl to utilize this repair order process. **
Known Errors: “No disc found” error message Disc Read error message(s) Slow or irregular frame rate Random lockup(s) during Game Play Frequent freezes at specific location(s) Image Problem(s) Audio Problem(s)
This information was provided directly from Nintendo’s website.
Most launch consoles will have issues playing SSB: Brawl due to the hardware configuration (DVD Drive). Most newer consoles will not have an issue playing SSB: Brawl.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused. Please utilize the form that Nintendo has released to have your Wii serviced.

Microsoft's Heroes Happen Here Event
Written by Administrator
Thursday, 06 March 2008
Well we had a fun time today at Microsoft's Heroes Happen Here event (other than almost being killed on the way there thanks to water). We got a bunch of cool stuff and wanted to share our sweet stories with everyone. The goal of the event? To celebrate the launch of Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008!
Departure
We set off at 6am to get to New Cumberland in time for the event (with some time to spare and to get some breakfast), and ended up taking a wrong turn (you can thank me for that). After following some signs to get back on 83S. Ok, sweet, we're getting there, and it's gonna be awesome! 15 minutes later, we are still on the way to 83... I didn't start getting worried until I had to take the Crown Vic up a nice hill. A series of hills, twisting all the way up. Great. Just as we're in the middle of a flood. I feel that I am safe and keep on climbing, going at a rate of about 35MPH (Speed limit of 45 on the road), I lost control of the car and almost ruined the day. I fish-tailed all over the road, and just missed hitting an on-coming Ford Explorer. I, luckily, kept it on the road and we kept on going. Eventually (around 6:45), we pulled in to the parking lot and made our way inside. Awesome.
Welcome
The day began by a cheerful greeting by the Microsoft staff and seperating us into two groups, Developers and IT Professionals (IT Infrastructure Track), Joe, Cody, Jesse (all of Pheti5h), Sam and Myself were split into the IT Track. From there, I got my nametag, grabbed a pen or three, and then we proceeded into the conference room. It was filled with a few tables, and tons of bags (which actually turned out to be awesome lunch boxes, filled with orange juice, water, an apple, an orange, a grain/oat/nut bar, Hersheys Bar, and an awesome Blueberry Muffin (seriously, it was really, really good). I snagged an extra one for later on in the day. :p
I registered with HP to try to win a pair of their headphones, but no luck with that :( o'well.
